FORT COLLINS -- A deeply divided alcohol task force decided Thursday to let Colorado State University President Larry Penley settle its most contentious issue: whether to reinstate beer sales during football games at Hughes Stadium.
By a unanimous vote, the panel agreed to disagree and sent Penley two completely opposite scenarios without recommending either one.
One scenario - recommended by a task force subcommittee - calls for resuming sales of 3.2 beer at the stadium through halftime, and cracking down on the use of hard liquor during tailgate parties in the stadium parking lot, while still ...
