Jan. 31--It would be easy to attribute the success of William Beaumont Hospital to three things: location, location, location.
And it's true. Beaumont's campuses in Royal Oak and Troy are fortuitously located amid a demographic dream of relative affluence and people with health insurance.
But Beaumont's success since its inception 50 years ago is the result of more than just its locale, say people familiar with the hospital industry.
