TAKE HEART, snow sports enthusiast.
The mercury may have surged in early January, melting away the base of your pleasure, but nature tends to offset one extreme with another.
And if that unwritten law holds, you'll find snow aplenty - man-made, for sure; natural, if you're lucky - on the Mid-Atlantic's ski slopes for the rest of the season.
A return to seasonal weather a week ago allowed resorts to resume blasting their snow guns, most around the clock.
