While the cynic might say there's little to say about Kaneland's 69-43 Wednesday loss to East Peoria at the DeKalb Chuck Dayton Holiday Tournament, the Knights were full of discussion during and after the contest.
Kaneland used the full 10-minute halftime to talk about ways to correct a first-half performance that started with a 1-for-10 shooting quarter and finished with East Peoria leading 21-2. Kaneland's offense improved in the second quarter but the Raiders still outscored the Knights 22-15 and led 43-17 at halftime.
