HOLLYWOOD -- Chinese filmmaker Zhang Yimou ("House of Flying Daggers") has been tapped to receive the Art Directors Guild's Cinematic Imagery Award.

The selection marks the first time that the ADG will present this award to a director of foreign-language movies. Past recipients are Clint Eastwood, Blake Edwards, Robert S. Wise, Frank Oz, Norman Jewison, John Lasseter and Allen Daviau.

Award will be presented at the ninth annual Art Directors Guild Awards on Feb. 12 at the Beverly Hilton ...
