Venerable swimwear company Christina has a new leader at its American business.
Daniel Desgagne has taken over the president position that had been held by Joey Schwabel, who was part of the team that bought Christina, founded in 1952, three years ago. The company will show its newest offerings in the resort section at the WWDMAGIC show.
Desgagne previously worked as general manager of Guess Canada and as president of Bikini Village, a Canadian swimwear chain. He said he got to know Christina well because it was a top-selling brand at the Bikini Village stores.
