Jan. 30--CHOOSE YOUR TAX PREPARER WISELY: If you are like me and most Amarilloans, your W-2 form arrived in the mail last week.
If it didn't, it should show up any day now.
The W-2 form is brief and to the point. It tells you how much money you earned, and how much Uncle Sam let you keep.
Once you get over the fact that the amount earned doesn't seem to match the effort given, it's time to think about preparing your tax return.
There was a time when most Americans did their own taxes.
