I was raised Reform Jewish by interfaith parents. My mother was deeply involved in the local Jewish community, and worked as activities director of the Jewish retirement community. My father had agnosticism developing into secular humanism.
My own hunger to really know God appeared in college. In many ways - some miraculous - God showed himself as real. But I had little personal relationship with God since I didn't understand God's personality.
