BARDSTOWN -- With a click of his computer, Greg Davis tracks the flow of bourbon whiskey at Barton Brands distillery as technology mixes with an age-old bluegrass tradition.
Yet the process remains a handcrafted art from start to finish. And no machine tells the 34-year-old master distiller when aged bourbon is ready for bottling. Just like his predecessors, he relies on his sense of sight, smell and taste.
And when he finds a batch ready for the Barton label?
