THE training starts today. The time of excuse making is over.
Ten weeks on Sunday, thousands will be on the starting line and on the verge of hopefully completing the biggest challenge of their lives - the London Marathon.
Amid the serious runners aiming to beat their previous times will be thousands taking part in their first marathon and for whom completing the 26. 2-mile course will be an achievement in itself.
