Feb. 2--EXTREME MAKEOVER: THE CHANGING FACE OF SAN ANTONIO: The view of our city from afar hasn't always been kind. One notable visitor from Southern California likened San Antonio to a tourist trap, a place with good tacos and too many conventioneers who like to visit a dirty, green river. A writer from Los Angeles described the SBC Center as a "dark and unremarkable barn on the outskirts of nowhere."
