If your mom was anything like mine, she instilled dozens of valuable lessons into your head over the years, and one of the most prominent was the importance of saying, "Thank you." I remember as I grew up that nothing was over until I said, "thank you." You had to say it to everyone for everything. It was an automatic response most of the time.

However, something happens as we grow older. We stop saying, "thank you" as often.
