Ahwaz Rolling & Pipe Mill Company (ARPMC) is planning a new hot strip products plant with capacity of 800,000 tonnes a year (t/y). The company has issued a request for prequalification and hopes to issue the invitation to bid in February and appoint a turnkey contractor by October.
The greenfield plant will consist of an in-line rolling mill as well as electric arc, furnace melting, ladle furnace, vacuum degassing refining, thin-slab casting and related facilities.
