PRESIDENT Emilio F. Aguinaldo outlived all his fellow revolutionary heroes. Thus he witnessed the changes that happened in the country from his proclamation of his countrys independence to the postwar years.
President Aguinaldo bequeathed so many great legacies to our country. It was he who conceptualized our National Flag. It was he who conceived the idea that our nation must have a National Anthem our Lupang Hinirang. He proclaimed the first republic in Asia and he organized the Army of the First Philippine Republic.
