HAIGH Hall teaching professional CraigCorrigan led from start to finish in the PGA NorthRegion Pestana overseas pro-am played over three days at Pint a and Gramacho in the Algarve.
Corrigan, whose playing opportunities are restricted by his commitments to his club's coaching academy, shared the first round pace with Accrington assistant Mark Harling with a 74 at Pint a in unseasonably cold conditions.
He led outright after a 69 at Gramacho, the lowest score of the event also matched by Andrew Turner, then returned to Pint a to post a 71, which included double bogeys at the ninth and 13th. His level par total was five shots better ...
