CTT Correios de Portugal, the Portuguese Post, is preparing to launch an e-post service.
Its new electronic mailbox service is designed to facilitate the transmission of electronic statements and bills to corporate, consumer and government customers of the Portuguese Post Office.
The service will feature online payment capabilities as well.
The e-post service is expected to move into pilot in April and launch in May.
In the first phase, Portuguese Post plans to focus the electronic mailbox service toward consumer mail recipients and target businesses a few months later.
