Australian-listed Hills Industries has posted a 2004-05 interim net profit of $A17.6m, which was 10.4 per cent higher than previously. The result was underpinned by a strong performance by its building and industrial products division, which recorded pre-tax profit growth of 25.6 per cent and revenue growth of 19.7 per cent. However, the home and hardware products division posted a profit of just $A6.3m, which was 30.3 per cent lower than previously.
