NEW YORK -- Fitch Ratings has assigned an underlying 'A+' rating to The School District of Hillsborough County, Florida's approximately $98.9 million sales tax revenue refunding bonds, series 2005, and has upgraded the rating on outstanding parity debt to 'A+' from 'A'. The series 2005 bonds are scheduled to price Feb. 8 via negotiation with a syndicate led by Citigroup. Series 2005 bond proceeds will be used to advance refund a portion of the district's currently outstanding series 2002 sales tax revenue bonds for an estimated net present value savings equal to 2.8% of the refunded par. In addition, Fitch affirms the 'A+' underlying rating on approximately $845 million ...
