Feb. 8--FREDERICK -- Some things just never seem to change.
The Great Frederick Play, commissioned as part of the city's new Founders Day program, portrays life in Frederick's early days.
The play is set in 1765. Even then, residents were concerned about some of the same things they are today. Traffic. War. And taxes, always the taxes.
And though character Mary Boyd, played by Tiffany Garfinkle, explains early on that "life goes a bit differently here in the colonies," things in Frederick seem to have remained constant.
