The Property Council of Australia has released figures for office vacancies. According to the data, Perth posted the highest vacancy rate in the six months to 5 January 2005, put at 13.4 per cent. Property analysts however say the absorption rate for Perth has been the best in a decade. They further said a massive amount of space has come onto the market.
