Trifecta for Bush
Re ``Iraqis defy threats, vote for freedom'' (Jan. 31):
A victory for our military, a victory for America, a victory for Iraq, a victory for democracy, and a victory for all freedom-loving people as 8 million Iraqis, 60 percent of the country's eligible voters, defying the threats, shootings, and bombings of terrorists, proudly extended their ink- stained fingers above their heads and proclaimed to the world that they are indeed the masters of their future.
Unfortunately, the Democratic Party's crystal ball is so laden with ridicule, cynicism and repugnance that it can't perceive the possibilities that lie ahead. First ...
