Feb. 11--ASHLAND -- You'll soon be able to crack open a far more portable aluminum can of Caldera beer.
The Ashland-based microbrewery plans to start canning its pale ale by the end of the month -- by hand, in-house, two beers at a time. Caldera beer is only available in kegs and half-kegs currently.
"The complaint you always hear is that it's always so hard to find a good beer in a can," Caldera owner Jim Mills said. "I'm hoping to tap into golf courses, river rafting, boating and airlines, in addition to grocery stores."
