Bi-oriented polyester film (BOPET) has excellent physical and chemical properties and is therefore extensively used in electronic, electric, magnetic recording, packing, decoration, plate-making printing and photo-sensitive material sectors. Both the output and the consumption of BOPET have made a remarkable increase in recent years. Packing film is the sector with the most rapid demand increase of BOPET.
The per-capita BOPET consumption in the world is 220g a year and the average per-capita consumption in Japan has reached 2 500g a year. With the rapid economic growth in China, the BOPET market will surely expand fast. According to the projection made by the industry ...
