The thought of endless pasta and breadsticks served up by the Italian restaurant chain Olive Garden has manifested itself into a Wenatchee rumor of almost mythological proportions. And that rumor continues to have momentum, according to the number of people who selected Olive Garden as the Best Business Rumor of 2004 for The Wenatchee Business Journal's Readers' Choice Awards.

But it's not just a rumor that has its grip on the Wenatchee Valley. It's also the restaurant itself. For the two previous Readers' Choice Awards, readers chose the Olive Garden as the business they would most like to see in the Valley.
