It seems that ATVs are coming under fire again, this time in the pages of Reader's Digest. The new issue has a potentially damaging editorial entitled "Hell On Wheels," and as the title suggests, is much less than complimentary to the vehicles and the industry as a whole.
Not letting bygones be bygones, they are even citing statistics on injuries and deaths starting in 1982, and dealers selling adult ATVs to kids. The article is very biased, with only a short rebuttal toward the end by the ATVA. The lead in photo is (predictably) a young rider jumping a Blaster sans protective gear.
