NEW YORK - The economy may be slow, but you wouldn't know it by looking at Judith Leiber's business - or her products.
With Judith Leiber Inc. celebrating its 30th year in business next year, the designer continues to see gains in her luxury-price handbag business. And this month, a fine jewelry line made by Harry Winston and designed by her was launched at retail.
Leiber's handbag line has also evolved to include smaller bags of leather and more purse accessories in an effort to reach a lower opening price point and attract a younger customer.
