Article: Jason's pumpkin.(Short Story)

Jason's heart beat fast as he climbed the steps of the school bus with his class. Red and gold leaves swirled around him.

"I'm going to pick the biggest pumpkin there," shouted Keith, crowding Jason from behind. "How big will little Jason's pumpkin be?"

Jason didn't answer. He was glad when Keith ran to the back of the bus. Jason found a seat beside Ryan.

"This is fun," said Ryan as the bus pulled away.

"I can't wait to find my pumpkin," said Jason. He settled back in his seat. Field trips usually worried him because he never knew what to expect.

But today he was excited. He knew just what he was going to do with his pumpkin ...
