WASHINGTON, D.C. - In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Arett Sales Corporation (ASC), of Cherry Hill, N.J., is recalling about 2 million multi-purpose barbecue lighters. Sold under the brand name "Kitchen Works," the lighters lack child-resistant mechanisms that meet federal safety standards. Young children could operate these lighters which poses a fire hazard.
