We hear so much today about Work force 2000, cultural diversity and a changing work force. Many times, managers think this is an issue for others -- perhaps only human resource departments. In reality, the changes we are seeing in the work force will affect us all. We have already begun to experience some changes as a result of the shift in the composition of the work force. In addition we must prepare today to keep pace with the changing work force. To take a reactionary position may mean we will be left behind -- perhaps in our competitor's dust. We need to address these changes and issues now -- before we enter the 21st century.
