Commercial and recreational fishermen in the U.S. Virgin Islands can again take advantage of fish aggregating devices similar to those used in central and western Pacific waters. The Virgin Islands Department of Planning and Natural Resources installed two of the so-called "fish magnets" in December.
"The purpose is to attract fish--all kinds of fish," department project manager Ruth Gomez was quoted as saying in a Virgin Islands Daily News story.
