CHICAGO, Feb. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Chicago Tribune has named Jim Kirk associate managing editor of business news.
"Jim brings his dogged reporting skills and keen eye for a story to the leadership of one of our most important news departments," said George de Lama, deputy managing editor for news at the Chicago Tribune.
Kirk joined the staff of the Chicago Tribune in June 1997 as marketing and advertising writer, and most recently wrote the "Business Beat" column. In October 2004, he became business editor.
