LONDON is on message this week. Everywhere you look there are the same three words: Make Britain Proud.
On flags in The Mall, banners in Trafalgar Square and on flashing electronic advertising on the Underground, buses and trains.
It is the slogan of London 2012, the bid to bring the Olympic Games to the capital, and it is everywhere because Very Important People will be in town - the 13 members of the International Olympic Committee's evaluation commission.
They arrive today to inspect London's claims at a good time.
