EVER fancied spending the night at a haunted hotel where a nun was once walled up for having an affair with a monk? Or joining a vigil at an eerie castle where glowing figures have been glimpsed and ghostly fingers felt stroking people's faces?
With the success of TV's spookiest programme, Most Haunted, ghoul-seeking in organised groups has now become the latest 'spooktacular' way to spend the weekend, attracting even corporate bookings.
'Ghost hunts are the new extreme sport,' says Martin Jeffrey of Fright Nights, which organises overnight vigils in some of Britain's spookiest locations.
