At La Salle University's Connelly Library, we don't have the resources to design or purchase a portal specifically for library services. Instead, we are finding ways to integrate our services into the portal that the university recently implemented for the entire campus. Since the summer of 2004, I, Tom Ipri, have been working with Jim Sell, our new director of portal communications, on finding more ways to take advantage of this technology. Our steps up to this point have been fairly modest, but as we learn more about the functions of the portal, our plans for the future become more grand.
