A third major international airport, Chubu Centrair International Airport, has opened in Japan.
The new airport, described as a gateway to the region near the city of Nagoya, was opened today (17 February). According to the airport, it will initially be served by 94 daily flights to 24 domestic cities and 271 weekly flights to 25 destinations abroad.
