Beijing, Feb 17 (PTI) China Thursday said it will send a senior Communist Party official to North Korea this week amid intense talks among Chinese, US and South Korean diplomats to coax Pyongyang back to the six-party talks mechanism on the vexed nuclear issue.
Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing met new US negotiator on the North Korean nuclear issue Christopher Hill here, calling for patience and constructive efforts from all parties to resume the six-way talks.
