Geoff Laws goes full steam ahead to a railway station-based eatery.

The Green Room is not what you might think. For a start it's not green; it's more of a brownie grey with hints of bronze in the drapes.

It's not the hospitality room either although the atmosphere is very hospitable.

So many contradictions but then what would life be without a few challenges? To my mind, the answer to that is `boring' and the Green Room at Hexham Railway Station certainly isn't that.
