LANVIN
Lanvin is on a roll. The company just reopened its twin flagship stores on the rue du Faubourg St. Honore, and is preparing the relaunch of Arpege next spring.
On Tuesday night, Dominique Morlotti, who made his ready-to-wear debut for Lanvin in February, proved he's made some progress. He did crisp, man-tailored pantsuits, as one might expect since he is a veteran men's wear designer. But Morlotti also caught the mood of Paris with transparencies and simple evening dresses.
