NEW YORK - Make room for another industry designation.
The latest entry into an already crowded field rolls out next month when courses begin for a certified wealth strategist designation from the Cannon Financial Institute Inc. and the New England College of Finance.
The new designation, according to the sponsors, goes beyond the "book knowledge'' of other designations by "teaching and addressing practice management and client interaction skills, as well as the `technical' knowledge required to competently address client wealth management issues.''
