ALLIANT ENERGY CORP. ON FRIDAY ACQUIRED OWNERSHIP OF THE TROUBLED LAGUNA DEL MAR DEVELOPMENT, AN 870-ACRE, MASTER-PLANNED RESORT COMMUNITY UNDER CONSTRUCTION IN NORTHERN MEXICO.
