ELIZABETH CITY - Cowboy singers are hard to come by in this day and age, pardners, but four of the best are headin' to town. College of The Albemarle has corralled the self-described rugged, clean-living Riders in the Sky.
They will be rounded up and herded into the Community Center Auditorium today to illustrate what authentic Western music sounds like, and they will be getting laughs in between. The foursome is noted as much for reach-for-the-sky routines and gags as for its harmony.
