England-based Ecosecurities offered to buy carbon credits of a Nueva Ecija pig farm that has been producing 150-kilowatt of electricity while eliminating waste water and foul methane emissions through environment-friendly means.
West Stewart, managing director of Philippine Bioscience Co. (PBC), said the pig farm is expecting to raise fund from its methane emission reductions since the company has constructed tank-type digesters that also eliminate foul odor emissions.
