WASHINGTON, Feb. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Consumer advocates called on Congress to oppose new legislation introduced to curb the diversion of over-the-counter products containing pseudoephedrine to the illicit manufacturing of methamphetamine. In a letter to Congress, the National Consumers League urged members to consider the inconvenience to millions of consumers that the "Combat Meth Act" would cause in its attempts to prevent a small number of criminals from misusing the products.
