Twice as many women as men enjoy reading for leisure, while men are more likely to enjoy watching TV, according to a TNS survey on Americans' fitness and leisure habits for FitTV. Both women and men favor sedentary forms of leisure such as reading or watching TV over exercising for pleasure. Interestingly, more than two in 10 list walking as one of their favorite leisure activities, separately from exercise, indicating that they don't consider walking exercise.
