Q. My husband and I bought 13 wooded acres in Isle of Wight County. It is heavily forested and there are many holly trees on the property. The problem is that none of them have any berries of any color. Why is this? Is there anything I can do to encourage berries next year? Not only do I like to see them, but I 'd like to have some for decorating around the holidays. I do know that hollies require male and female plants but with the number of trees we have, there should be plenty of both. - Mary Henderson.
