IF YOU ARE pining away on a cold weekend, longing for gardening weather, don't plant yourself on the sofa. Get out and prune.
Bundle up and you'll soon be warm as you whack away at your trees and shrubs that need sprucing up for 2005. You'll also be happy when the first really warm weekend arrives and you can do other, more rewarding chores in the garden.
