Mary Routledge has fascinating memories of growing up during the war.

And so those tales are never forgotten, the Liverpool author has captured them in her second autobiography, Memories 2.

Mary's latest work is a follow up to her first book, Memories, where the author shared her own story of how her Toxteth family home was bombed.

Now 78 and living in Stockbridge Village, she was just 13-years-old at the time of the May blitz and her family were split up for some time before finding a flat in Myrtle Gardens.
