Tyco International, which is domiciled in Bermuda but run from Princeton, N.J., appointed Christopher Coughlin, 52, as CFO to succeed David FitzPatrick, who will retire as executive vp and CFO at year-end to pursue other interests. Coughlin, who will begin his position March 7, recently served as COO and CFO at Interpublic Group and also worked as CFO at Pharmacia Corp. and Nabisco Holdings. FitzPatrick, 50, was appointed CEO in September 2002, replacing Mark Swartz, who, along with former CEO L.
