Absent for more than a year, France has finally returned to the U.S. private placement arena. French conglomerate Bollore S.A. entered the market last week with a $100 million senior note deal agented by BNPP Paribas Securities Corp, sources said.

The diverse holdings company is seeking maturities in the following three tranches: a 10-year final/7-year average life maturity; a 12-year final/10-year average life maturity; and a 15-year final/12-year average life tranche, market sources said. Price talk was heard at 150 basis points to 160 basis points over Treasurys.
