The 62nd annual WIAA individual state wrestling tournament that ended Saturday at the Kohl Center attracted 62,405 fans, the second-largest showing in tournament history.
Four area champions were crowned -- Wisconsin Heights' Kyle Reeve finished as a two-time champion, while Dodgeville's Bobby Wunnicke, DeForest's Sergio Mireles and Stoughton's Rick Nelson each won their first title.
Wisconsin Rapids' Josh Hansen, Luxemburg-Casco's Brian Barbiaux and Campbellsport's Justin Schmidt each won their third title apiece, while Wrightstown twins Chris and Casey Klister also went out as state champions.
